Hidden Roots · Carpentry & Sculpture
Furniture grown from nature
Every piece is bespoke – crafted by hand from hand-selected, naturally fallen branches, with the character of the wood left in.
Welcome to the natural world of Hidden Roots
Working with nature, not against it
Harry makes sustainable, hand-crafted furniture from naturally fallen branches – each one chosen for its shape, then joined, carved and finished by hand.
From the workshop to your home, Hidden Roots makes everything from custom shelving to bespoke beds and wardrobes in oak, hazel, bamboo and other natural hardwoods. No two branches are the same, so no two pieces are either.
Our storyOur craft
Bespoke pieces, one branch at a time
Beds
Bespoke beds crafted from naturally fallen branches – four-posters, headboards and frames shaped by the wood itself, made to be slept in for a lifetime.
Campervans
Campervan and caravan fit-outs with the same craft as our furniture: natural timber, clever storage and a warm, bespoke finish for life on the road.
Tables & Chairs
Tables and chairs that bring nature indoors – solid hardwoods, hand-selected branches and bold, natural finishes, each one made to order.
Carvings
Sculpture and carving drawn out of the grain – bears, totems and faces, each shaped by hand from a single piece of natural wood.
Miscellaneous
Wine racks, shelving and one-off commissions – if it can be crafted from branches and natural hardwoods, we would love to make it for you.
Made by hand
Every piece tells the story of its tree
